5 Favorite Things Friday – #6
My 5 Favorite Things On Friday – Edition #6!
Finger Puppets – Ikea 10 piece finger puppet set – When I was recovering at home, someone had left this gift in our church mailbox! It was such a thoughtful gift, we did not have anything remotely close to this, and one of her favorite nursery rhyme songs is “Daddy finger, daddy finger, where are you?” These finger puppets are inexpensive, fit really any size finger (yes, they fit Mazy’s, Dan’s, and my fingers)! Such a simple gift, but one that your child will truly LOVE!
KitchenAid Stand Mixer – When my grandma passed away, her mixer was one thing that I really wanted. It was a basic KitchenAid, but I had heard amazing things about this kind of mixer. I am unsure when my grandma had purchased it, but she passed away in 2003. It is now 15 years later and I have not had one single problem with it! It has made it through multiple moves, has mixed umpteen batches of cookie dough, and I it is worth every penny!
The thing about mine is that my bowl does not have a handle on it, which at times would be nice, but here is a model that comes with a handle on the bowl:
Paw Patrol: Winter Rescues – Our daughter loves, I mean LOVES paw patrol! And really, so do I. Mazy had received this DVD for Christmas and it is on play in our van no matter where we go. I find our daughter repeating the sayings from this movie, but there are great life lessons and problem solving skills portrayed through this series, so no complaints here! You’ll be amazed by the 5-star review and after you see what it’s about, you’ll understand why!
Samsill Notebook – I am a note-taker. For sermons, I enjoy taking notes because that is just how I remember and learn best. I had received this notebook from the company and it now goes with me every Sunday! It has 3 straps to use as bookmarks and also a pocket inside, to store loose papers and notes. It also comes in various colors, which makes note-taking and journal writing even more fun!
Sharpie Permanent Marker – Fine Point – I use Sharpies so often! From writing on the top of my spices, to addresses to ship boxes, to writing in a card, to labeling. I use a Sharpie multiple times a week, so for me, it’s a must-have!
