Homemade Playdough
If winter already has you wondering what to do with your children, you cannot go wrong with playdough! Our daughter plays with playdough multiple times a day and I must admit, I often join in with her! It is definitely a past-time, but something that never gets old! Plus, the joys of making your own is that if the cover is left off of it, which lets be honest, happens all the time, you can just make another batch on the cheap! Get ready to get an arm workout because I think that is the toughest part of the whole recipe – stirring until well mixed.
I have used this recipe multiple times and it has never failed me! Choose your favorite color and enjoy!
Mix flour, salt, and alum. Add water and oil; boil. Add food coloring. Store in airtight container.
