Scotcheroos
Ever crave something chewy, chocolaty, and sweet? Ever looking for that quick, easy, and perfect snack everyone will enjoy? Scotcheroos are the answer! You can have these bars assembled and made in about 15 minutes – and trust me, they taste MUCH better than a 15 minute bar! Simple ingredients for a simple recipe!
Scotcheroos {Print Recipe}
Ingredients:
- 6 c. rice krispies
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. peanut butter
- 1 c. white Karo syrup
Topping:
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 1 c. butterscotch chips
Directions:
1. Heat sugar, peanut butter, and syrup until all are heated through.
2. Add to the rice krispies and mix.
3. Put in a 9×13 inch pan.
4. For topping, heat chocolate and butterscotch chips together and spread on top of the rice krispies mixture.
5. Do not refrigerate (will get too tough).
