Genetic Update

Just a little update…

Yesterday I mentioned that I have to go through some genetic testing.
While meeting with Tim and Brenda last night, we all just wished we could start the “big” process NOW. As in like yesterday. We were trying to figure out if we could start earlier than July and we were having a little hard time coordinating our schedules. But we knew that if we were meant to start earlier, a way would be provided.

Well, God answered that prayer quickly. This morning I received a call that they could not get me in to see a genetic counselor until the end of July. I thought I would be really disappointed, but our prayer was that God would show us the perfect time – well, how can I argue with His quick response? He answered my prayer! What more could I ask for?

So we wait. We wait patiently. Just because we have to wait, doesn’t mean that God won’t continue to work in and thru us in this. That means He has things planned for us during that waiting period that He will use to prepare us for the future. And who knows if He will bring us to the end of July in this process. Maybe something will cause us to stop. But as Brenda said yesterday, “we will live expectantly.”
