Around The Home
Can I just say “Woohoo!” for seeing the sun this past week? Even though the temps are a tad chilly, there is something about needing sunglasses in the middle of winter that is so refreshing! This past week consisted of a few med changes which means more monitoring, but so far it’s going okay. Not always easy changing up meds because that means more side effects, but if it means my heart could possibly get a little bit better, it’s worth it.
The week started off with some good laughs as we had wax paper races with the kids at youth group! A lot of laughs were sure had and lots of spills too!
Monday morning Mazy wanted to take all of her books off the bookshelf so she could reorganize them. A girl after my own heart! Though let’s be honest, I was the one who had to reorganize them all…
We sure had fun this past week dogsitting for this sweetie!
And then there was that time where a loud bang and there was stuff coming out of the doorway of our bathroom, which led me to believe Dan fell through the ceiling since he was upstairs. But then we happened upon this…not what I expected to see!
Mazy wanted to put make-up on Mommy…not too shabby, right?
This was quite the load of potassium that I had to pick up from the pharmacy this week!
Mazy is obsessed with Frozen and Elsa, so I decided to try and make a wig out of yarn and a headband for her…it kind of worked. It just needs some tweaking and it’ll be good to go. This is the start of it…
As you probably saw on Facebook, I am starting to work on another book! It’s just in the beginning stages and no official writing has been done yet, but an outline is happening!
On Friday I went back to Ann Arbor for a check up, which was good and eh…good that they are still able to change up meds in hopes that the heart improves, but eh because there are a handful of other issues they need to address. But hopefully over time we can find reasonable solutions to them and things will improve! (see previous posts for more info)
Hope you all have a wonderful week!
