  • Our Date Night

Tonight Dan and I had the chance to go to dinner just us two, to Clementine’s. We realized it had been quite some time the last time we did that, and what an enjoyable time we had. Doing youth ministry together, we can often be found always together. Usually though, we are busy doing something….

  • Heart Catheterization Day

One step closer to getting the ole ticker fixed! Today I had a heart catheterization in preparation for my open heart surgery in the future. Unfortunately we still do not have a date, due to the fact that I have to meet with the surgeon yet (which now isn’t until August 21), but after today,…

  • Praying For a Miracle

We are HOME! Needless to say, this week hasn’t necessarily gone as planned. When I found out Monday that I was being admitted to Michigan for heart failure, I was thinking we would be there 1 day. Well, one day turned into 6. It was an eventful week of seeing my heart beat completely out…

  1. Hi Kristin,
You don’t know me well, I live in Prinsburg and talked to you a couple times. My husband had an ejection fraction in the 20’s due to
a virus attacking his heart which came up suddenly about 2 years ago, he is on medication also and had a 3 lead pacemaker put in
over a year ago and that has helped tremendously. But I was so interested in what you said about your high glucose b/c the
last two times he has been to the Dr. that has been high for him as well. If you find some good recipes or can share what you
are following for your diet that would be great. Did you just look up mediterranean diet and start there?
Thanks for any info and hoping this will help your health so much!
