Around The Home
April showers bring May flowers and…the saying holds true to this day! It was a rainy week here in West Michigan, but the weekend definitely made up for it! Despite the dreary days, we still made the most of it all.
Mazy just couldn’t stay awake on a 20 minute drive. She RARELY falls asleep in the car, in fact I can’t remember the last time, so she clearly was tired and OUT COLD.
Oh, and another day she says to me, “Mommy, I am NOT TIRED.” Right…
We have 3 new additions to our family! Ellie (the bottom feeder), Goldie 1, and Goldie 2:
This girl just makes my life so much brighter and I can’t keep the smile off my face when I’m with her!
While hanging out at our friends’ house, she wanted to take care of the doggy and sleep by her, so this is what resulted:
Had the honor of dusting off the ole hair love by doing two up-dos this past weekend. I am NO PRO, AT ALL. But we sure had a lot of fun and truly what an honor it was to spend the afternoon with these two beauties, who mean so much to me! And their family!
Can’t imagine life without them:
On Saturday, we went to the Dandelion Festival/Parade in the town I grew up in. Mazy has been looking forward to it since last year’s parade, so this day was lived to the fullest! We were there from the minute it opened to 5 minutes before it closed. We started out in winter coats and ended with sleeves rolled up and my face getting fried. We could not have asked for better weather! Shout out to Borculo CRC for putting such an amazing day! All of the volunteers/members were so kind and patient. Mazy already asked me when the next festival will be…it’s going to be a long year.
Mazy’s real pony ride! She didn’t budge, but she sure loved it!
One of Mazy’s favorite parts is the parade. She is very sensitive to loud noises (has been since the day she was born), so the muffs are a must, but oh did she LOVE it! She even gave it a little thumbs up for the pic:
Then it was time to relax! This girl was worn out!
Wait, that’d make both of us…
Only 2 1/2 more weeks until my procedure and yes, I am counting down the days! Still doing okay, but sure am ready to be feeling like Kristin again soon too!
