This past week had gone a bit different than planned, but that’s okay. Isn’t that just life sometimes, right? At the beginning of the week, we were able to finish painting the garage, stain the deck, and Dan finished up the brick walkway around the sandbox. And Dan also inserted the posts in for a…

Week number 2 in the books of social distancing and 1 week down with our mandate to “shelter in place”. How are you all doing? Sometimes it’s hard to find the words to express what life is like, so here are some pictures that give a glimpse into what the Sterks have been up to:…

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:313) May today be filled with reflection, awe, humbleness, and utter joy as we celebrate why we have the hope of eternity today. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

  • Just A Few More Weeks!

Can the anticipation get any greater?? Our baby girl has officially dropped, which means we are just THAT much closer to meeting her! On Tuesday, I did not feel very good and even thought for 2 seconds that maybe “it was time.” I was sore and had a contraction or 2, but by the time…

  1. She is just the cutest girl ever! I love hearing about how much you adore her, and appreciate how cute she is. Some parents seem so blasé about their babies, and I wanted to just eat them up! I have four grown kids and having 9th grandbaby in Dec. You cannot imagine how EXTRA fun the grands are. (hint: ask your parents)

I've stalked your blog for years, but rarely comment. Not because I don't like it, but because I'm a slacker. 🙂 You do a great great job every post.

  2. Thank you for your sweet comment! I love to hear from readers :). We know that each moment with her is just such a gift, so we want to embrace each moment! I am sure you know exactly what that is like, having 4 kids yourself (and now grandkids :)). Thank you for the encouragement as well. It is much appreciated!
