Can I just say how much we love this phase of a baby’s life?

I loved the newborn stage too for various reasons, but I have to say that it was very hard. Now having a child that has outgrown her acid reflux and is past her colicky stage, has made this journey all the more beautiful and fun. And really, way easier as well. I almost feel guilty saying that because I know that we are beyond blessed to have a healthy child. So I say that not proving we did anything, but solely by God’s grace we have a child who continues to just love life!

Someone asked me recently if Mazy Grace has a lot of energy (a bit of a rhetorical question as she was just kicking and swinging her arms as the person asked the question) and yes, she is a bundle of energy. Not that she gets that from us (ha!), but she sure keeps us on our toes. More or less keeps us smiling. All. The. Time. She is either jabbering, squealing, or blowing bubbles. All. The. Time.

That is what makes parenting worth while. The things she teaches us. To enjoy the little things in life. To take each moment and embrace it. All thanks to a little baby to teach us such valuable life lessons!

Mazy still loves books! I was going to buy a black and white book, but this week we received one in the mail through a program we are signed up for!
