  • Do More Than Just Listen

The start of a new year always promises new beginnings. New ways of doing things. New habits. New this, new that. I think it’s healthy for us as humans to have these moments – times to sit back and think forward. Where are we going in life? What do we want to be doing? What…

September 17 always brings tears. It was 4 years ago that our little babies went to be with their heavenly Father. Our two little babies that God allowed to grow for 3 weeks in Brenda’s womb. A journey we never imagined being a part of, yet a journey that we couldn’t be more thankful for….

Welcome to winter, right? I don’t care where you live in the U.S., I feel you have gotten SOME sort of inclination that we are in the winter months! In Minnesota, it has dropped to degrees I never even knew existed and have felt temperatures I didn’t know my body could actually handle! It is…

    1. The color is a little skewed, but I would say it's more of a sage, but we LOVE it! If we had to redo it, I would still choose this color!

  1. I paint something almost every single day–yes, I do! Yesterday, today and tomorrow, it's the floor in one of the guest rooms–dark (almost rust) red, my hands down favorite color!

  2. I LOVE IT!! My hubby is the painter in our family…he says it's therapy…he is also our decorator and is having a fabulous time now that we have moved in to our new…yet old…house. Today he is painting our 8 year old son's room. For some people it is very stressfull to paint, for him it is actually creating something so it is a stress reliever. I have a feeling he will doing the same…painting every room…we have to make it ours 🙂 even when you rent you can take pride and create beauty in your home. 🙂

    1. I think painting is a form of therapy too :). I think "new to you" homes are best – you can make them what you want, without paying the price tag of a new home. I so agree that you can take pride in whatever it may be that you live in. It's all about making it "you". Thanks for sharing Teresa!
