We knew the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas would fly by, and we sure were not wrong! Hard to believe we will be leaving once again for Michigan for Christmas this week! We value that time with family incredibly, so we would not miss the opportunity.
It has been a VERY chilly week in Minnesota. So cold that we can’t really even go outside with Mazy because the wind chills have been well below zero. One night it was between a -35 and -40 wind chill! Yikes! A tad on the chilly side.
Last Sunday was warm enough to go outside, so we bundled Mazy up! She helped us shovel the driveway, even with her gloves on backwards! I just LOVE this face – she is staring at me wondering why in the world she has to have all of these clothes on!

Mazy helped me make Christmas cookies! Making cookies has been something I could not WAIT to do with her and I figured start her young, right? She even helped me get the butter out of the wrapper.
While waiting for the cookies to bake, she once again thought my face was a great sticker book. I had so many layers of stickers that I couldn’t move my cheeks. Silly girl! It was a great exfoliating solution though!
When I told Mazy we needed to frost the cookies after mom was done mixing the frosting, she thought she would get the job done quick and just throw the cookie IN the half-stirred frosting. Easy frosting, huh? Smart girl…
This was her favorite part – the sprinkles! I did not have any festive sprinkles, but I figured any will do!

That is a MINUS 22.3 at 8:00 in the morning (time didn’t change on our reader). We did not have church that morning needless to say. And that’s without the windchill.
