Day -3 & Last Day of Chemo!

Day -3 and last day of chemo! Now starting up immunosuppressants and preparing for anti rejection drugs! This body is going through a LOT of change, but so far, God’s grace has been holding it steady and fairly strong. I try to walk about 2 miles a day around the floor, which helps keep things moving. Here’s to hopefully getting out of here as fast as I can!

It’s a strange place to be, a place where I know I know I need to be, yet so surreal compared to life outside of it. Yet this is my reality and this is where God has me serving Him in this moment. It makes me want to strive for “enoughness”, but only His grace is enough for each moment and me resting in Him is where enough is found. Laying around in a hospital room sure challenges all aspects of who you are, but I’m so thankful for God’s grace and love he continues to show our family! Thank you for all of the prayers, texts, messages, etc, that you’ve given our family! We truly do not walk alone and though I don’t respond to each comment, know each is read and cherished. Thank you, for loving us through this!
