Adding Some Simple Style

Simple. Practical. Functional. That is how I would describe my style – whether it be clothes or our home. Owning again after renting in Minnesota for a few years, and being able to decorate our home to fit our lifestyle and tastes, has been fulfilling and satisfying. I think it is important to make your home a place of refuge, rest, and relaxation, since it is (hopefully) the place you spend more of your time.

It has taken me a long time to add little pieces of décor to our home. Being 2 years in, we still have bare walls, nooks and crannies that are empty, but I’m okay with it. I’m one of those “I know it when I see it” type people. I have had the privilege of partnering with Wayfair for a number of years now, and as I look around our home, I realize just how much our home is a Wayfair ad! The most recent campaign I partnered with Wayfair on was their “Style Sanctuary”, which showcases how anyone can make their bedroom into an oasis and a reflection of them. Not to mention, organize their closets in an orderly fashion while maximizing space.

Before I give too much away and share the simple little changes I made in our bedroom to make it an oasis for us, I first wanted to give you a glimpse into some products you could use to switch up your bedroom look and make it into a place that is YOU. I have bought 3 bedspreads and/or comforters from Wayfair and as cheap as I can be, they are very reasonably priced, without skimping on quality. And that comes from someone who tries to save a dime where she can. If you haven’t ever checked out Wayfair’s options when it comes to comforter sets or even clothes racks (think basement or laundry room organization for your clothes), you should definitely check them out!

I don’t know about you, but I love like a neatly organized space and when I can make a space look the way I want to without breaking the bank, sign me up!
