Around The Home
I realize in my “Around The Home” posts, they consist of all things Mazy! I try to think of different things to take pictures of, but really, in our home, our life is filled love for Mazy. Yeah I could share about the times we run our errands or go to our youth group kids’ basketball games, but I suppose those pictures wouldn’t be as exciting. So bear with me, every Monday, this is basically what these posts are going to look like, unless I get some inspiration otherwise!
At Open Rock on Mondays, Mazy looks so forward to seeing the “kids” as she calls them! It just so happened our pastor brought their dog over, which gave Mazy another “friend” to play with!
Mazy enjoys playing with “stickies” and though I am not sure I have put a bandaid on her since she was but a few months old (after trying to cut her nails), but she likes to wear “ouchies” now.
This is the beautiful face I get to love Every. Day.
Say CHEESE!
Mazy has been struggling to stay asleep during naptime since we retired wubs, but what I love about being a semi-stay-at-home-mom is being able to rock with her and maybe get a few zzz’s myself.
Cuddles never get old! My agenda can wait…
Mazy likes to wear her “eyes” (sunglasses). I have to laugh every time because they have a strap which make her look THAT much cooler!
Apparently our house is really bright!
About a year ago, we were looking through old clothes at my parent’s house and I found a dress that I wore when I was a baby. I decided to take it, in hopes of getting a picture of Mazy in it one day! To think that we have a daughter and that I could even do this, is so humbling! I hope to one day share other clothes with her too, but I’m sure I will be too “uncool” by then!

Mazy sure knows how to relax – hands behind the head!
Mazy and I haven’t snuggled like this for quite some time! Head on the chest, all nuzzled under a blanket (usually she likes me to hold her like a baby). Brought me back to her newborn days! Again, I wouldn’t trade these moments for housework or cleaning any day!
This week reminded me to embrace the moments because these moments will end someday!
