Around Our Home

This is a weekly post that I want to get better at writing! I find myself just posting pictures of Mazy everytime, but at the same time, life with a 9 month old, well, that is what we love about our life! Mazy is so full of personality and spunk (if that would be the correct term to describe her?) As you will see, she really is such a little ham, still to this day! I felt I was saying that months ago, but really, she makes us laugh so hard sometimes! Just the other day, she was “reading” a book and put the book up against her face. Well, then she proceeded to bang the book on her had and thought that was the funniest thing. Dan and I sure were cracking up ourselves!

This past week was spent getting caught up on life, after being gone for the holidays. Preparing meals again, getting caught up on laundry, and just getting caught up on the things we had neglected the past couple of weeks, like cleaning the house. By all means, we do not live in a large home, but I do wonder where in the world the dirt comes from? How can 3 people make such a mess? Granted it had been a couple weeks since I had last cleaned, and we were gone for almost 2 of them, but who knows.

This week, I think, will be a little calmer! I told Dan that I don’t want to be gone every night, which we often are. It just makes for one tired mama by the end of the week – I am getting older and older these days! Plus, with Mazers, I want to respect her time too.

So here’s a glimpse of our life with Mazy the past week!

Family will recognize this face (she started doing this over Christmas break). This is what we call her “scowl” but she will do it at the most random of times. She isn’t necessarily mad when she does it – she is just learning how to use her face, we think. And boy does it make us laugh!
