Around the Home
Not much by way of introduction, except don’t forget to sign up to win a FREE game from Bible Game Central, called Parable Parade! The giveaway ends tomorrow night! Still waiting to get scheduled for a 12-lead holter monitor for my heart, but I figure it’ll happen when it’s supposed to happen! So here’s what our week has looked like…
Our family LOVES pig-in-a-blankets! Now these are little cocktail sausages wrapped in a crescent roll. Nothing wrong with those, we like those too, but these pigs are filled with meaty goodness, wrapped in a pastry-type dough. They take awhile to make, but are completely worth every minute! Click here for the recipe!
Mazy is learning to ride her bike with no training wheels! She’s a cautious one, and has been on the brink, but can now make it down the sidewalk without any assistance:
Getting dressed up with cousins!
This year Mazy wanted to be “Elsa coronation” as she calls it – Elsa, from Frozen, in her coronation dress. She would look adorable in any costume I feel, but what a little princess she was!
She could not WAIT for Halloween (the getting dressed up and candy part), and oh what a gift it was to experience it all with her. There is something about living life through the eyes of a child, whether it be your own child or not. They just offer such a fresh, renewing, thrilling, and simple way of looking at the little things in life!
Visiting grandparents…
Where we live, we usually get quite a few trick or treaters, but due to the virus, we didn’t get as many as previous years. Nevertheless, Maggie did a great job at being a watch dog for us!
Trick or treating with daddy…
Organizing candy…
Cutest hunter I’ve ever seen!
We woke up Sunday morning to it SNOWING! This girl was so thrilled, she headed STRAIGHT outside!
It was extremely windy Sunday, so Mazy and I headed to the beach to check out the amazing power of the waves, and talk about how mighty our God is!
