Around the Home
As I’m sure you’ve probably noticed, I haven’t been blogging as much, for various reasons. I often see this blog as a journal for myself, and something to look back on over the years, and so I thought I would share some more pictures of what’s been going on!
We had an amazing Spring Break that offered a break from routine, opportunities to explore, spend time together, and with friends! One of the days we met one of Mazy’s classmates at the Critter Barn, and that place never disappoints! I’m pretty certain Mazy could have about 15 pets and still want more!
The love is mutual!
We planted our early season veggies and Mazy wanted to plant a few pots of flowers as well:
We visited Windmill Island to see if the tulips were blooming, but not quite yet. It didn’t matter because we still made the most of it:
We were blessed with some WARM weather during break and because we wouldn’t let Mazy swim in the pool, she then chose the sprinkler. With rain boots on 🙂
Easter baskets never disappoint:
Easter morning:
Grandma and grandpa got some baby chicks and they were WELL loved:
At school, they could dress up as their favorite American, and Mazy chose Shannon Miller, an Olympic gymnast:
We just cannot keep her out…summer cannot come soon enough!
Celebrating this sweet 6 year old:
Mazy wanted a Rapunzel cake and oye, it was a bit difficult, but this is what we came up with:
This girl is just like her momma…loving puzzles:
The love could not be greater:
During Spring Break, we also went to the Frederik Meijer Gardens and had the best weather:
Now on to the home stretch with school and before we know it, summer will be here!
