Around the Home
Photo Dump Week! It’s been such a fun summer with so many activities, so here’s a glimpse at what we’ve been up to:
Early July, we went to Michigan’s Adventure Amusement Park with our youth group kids and Mazy was able to tag along! We try to remind her often that this is very special and that this isn’t something we do on the regular, but is a perk of being our kiddo :). Even though the weather was interesting at times and the place was absolutely PACKED, we had such a great time and the kids definitely said the same and can’t wait to go back next year! Her first ride was Mad Mouse, and if you’ve been on that, you may not wonder why she doesn’t want to ride a roller coaster like that for awhile. It was a bit intense for her, but she wanted to try it and now we know. Made it through with no tears, but she was happy to go explore the other smaller rides after that!
One of Mazy’s favorite rides was the Thunderbolt:
Celebrating the 4th of July with some fireworks!
And this is how we watch fireworks: inside, with the shooting muffs on, and our blankie:
Love watching her imagination while dancing: butterfly wings, leotard, skirt, and her winter boots:
Beautiful rainbow after a very powerful storm:
One of our most favorite places: Dutch Village!

I am still awaiting results of my PET scans this past week, and as hard as it is to be patient, I know that I will find out in God’s perfect timing. Trying to trust in that, as we wait!
