Around the Home
A pretty normal week, until a surprise snow day on Friday! Apparently it was in the forecast to snow, but I’ve been so glued to the Olympics, that I’m a bit naive to what’s going on around me! So when I checked my phone Friday morning and a friend texted me about enjoying my snow day, I was like, “Say WHA?” Sure enough! And it did not disappoint. This meant catching up on laundry, working on my 2,000 piece puzzle that I’ve been doing for far too long, running errands with the Mazers, and going sledding with cousins:
On Saturday, Mazy had her last gymnastics time at the rec center, which meant we could watch her! She was nervous for us to come, but what fun it was to see her doing something she loves with such a big smile on her face!
We were encouraged to have Mazy be involved in something, such as a sport, for it to not only be an outlet for her, but also a way for her to spread her wings. We weren’t sure how it was going to go, since this is her first time doing gymnastics, but she thrived and is sad that it has now ended. We see the confidence it has produced in her and the excitement she came home with each Saturday!
