As our time in Minnesota comes to a close, we of course have been reflecting on our many experiences here in Minnesota. I feel our life did a 180 since being out here, in a good way. We came broken, hurt, and childless, with two babies in heaven. Now we leave refreshed, renewed, and with…

What a joyous and wonderful Christmas week we had as a family. We tried to soak in every moment we could because family is just so valuable to us. Also, seeing our sweet girl’s excitement over Christmas, while trying to reign in the excitement over the presents and remind her WHY we have Christmas gifts,…

Week (I don’t even know) of quarantine and I realize my pictures describe exactly what life looks like. I mean they always should, but almost all of my pictures have Mazy in them because that is what this quarantine has given us – family time! Not much new over in our neck of the woods,…

  1. I agree. Moving is very hard, and from a family who moved around 17 times in 19 yrs. of marriage, I can definitely relate!. I also empathize with you on saying goodbyes. However, God always has a better plan than we could ever hope or imagine, and as there is a season for everything, this ‘season” is passing to make way for what God has in store for all of you.
We never know how God is going to use us until we take that step in faith. That is exactly what you and Dan and Mazy are doing, and I for one, can hardly wait to see how our Lord is going to use your lives by coming back to Michigan for your good and His glory.
I’ll be waiting for the next blog post.
Our daughter, Kara, and her husband, Andy, are going through something similar right now, in that they are sorting, discarding, and saving stuff as they prepare to go to Germany to live for 3 to 5 years. Andy’s new job is there and as you are making decisions, so are they, so please pray for them as they leave June 7th. Thanks so much.
You all are in my prayers daily as you attempt to do the same tasks to get ready to start a new chapter of your lives. I know God has great plans for you!!
    Love,
    Karen and Joe

    1. Thank you so much for your comment Karen! You are so wise, full of experience, and have such a great faith! You sure know what it’s like to move! Actually, I enjoy it to some extent because I’ve learned that God does beautiful things in new chapters! I can’t wait to share how God has, is, and will be working. There is something so beautiful about being able to share God-stories with others. Thank you for keeping in contact Karen! I will be thinking of Andy and Kara as they make a big move as well. That’s a REALLY big move! I foresee a trip out there for the Killians :). Thank you for sharing your heart and faith with me Karen! Much love to you!
