  • This Week In Pictures

We have had such an absolutely beautiful fall! In Minnesota, it has been known to snow, so we will take these 60-70 degree weather days ANYDAY! Not only has it been a gorgeous fall, but it has been sunny out as well! It snowed early November last year (actually our biggest snow storm of the…

  • Last Day of School!

Last day of school! Many emotions encompass this day, for the both of us. The picture on the left is the first day of school and little did we know at the time, I was walking with leukemia. It was about 3 weeks later, I went into a heart procedure, thinking I’d only be taking…

  • One Day At A Time

What a week it has been! First of all, thank you all for the prayers, messages, and emails! We are incredibly blessed to be part of the family of God and be offered so much love, care, and support! This past week hasn’t been anything like we ever imagined, yet it was exactly what God…

  • A Battle For Time

This is a battle that I feel everyone has fought in some way or another – the battle of time. Finding time to do what you want to be doing. 1. I agree. Moving is very hard, and from a family who moved around 17 times in 19 yrs. of marriage, I can definitely relate!. I also empathize with you on saying goodbyes. However, God always has a better plan than we could ever hope or imagine, and as there is a season for everything, this ‘season” is passing to make way for what God has in store for all of you.
We never know how God is going to use us until we take that step in faith. That is exactly what you and Dan and Mazy are doing, and I for one, can hardly wait to see how our Lord is going to use your lives by coming back to Michigan for your good and His glory.
I’ll be waiting for the next blog post.
Our daughter, Kara, and her husband, Andy, are going through something similar right now, in that they are sorting, discarding, and saving stuff as they prepare to go to Germany to live for 3 to 5 years. Andy’s new job is there and as you are making decisions, so are they, so please pray for them as they leave June 7th. Thanks so much.
You all are in my prayers daily as you attempt to do the same tasks to get ready to start a new chapter of your lives. I know God has great plans for you!!
    Love,
    Karen and Joe

    1. Thank you so much for your comment Karen! You are so wise, full of experience, and have such a great faith! You sure know what it’s like to move! Actually, I enjoy it to some extent because I’ve learned that God does beautiful things in new chapters! I can’t wait to share how God has, is, and will be working. There is something so beautiful about being able to share God-stories with others. Thank you for keeping in contact Karen! I will be thinking of Andy and Kara as they make a big move as well. That’s a REALLY big move! I foresee a trip out there for the Killians :). Thank you for sharing your heart and faith with me Karen! Much love to you!
