Around The Home
If you have been following my book journey, this past week I finally revealed the cover AND a relative time when it will be released (mid-June)! I am in awe of the fact that the book has come this far, though God has ordained everything just so, for such a time as this. This next week, I plan to order the official copies and HOPE to have them in our possession in the next two weeks! Once I know the exact day I will be able to start selling it, I will DEFINITELY be spreading the word! So stay tuned!
Even though the book has taken a lot of my time, we are loving summer and LOVING our pool! What a gift that is! Even though I don’t have any pictures this week of our pool adventures, we were in it at LEAST once a day! It was a warm week so it was a welcomed cool down everyday!
For Memorial Day, we headed up to Dan’s brother’s house near Traverse City. Mazy sure loved hanging out with her cousins for the day!
She played so hard she fell asleep on the way home! And I admit, so did I!
After going to the dollar store, I remembered good ole Hager Park was just north of where we were, so Mazy and I ventured out there. It was quite hot and humid, but she sure had a blast and that’s all that mattered!
Still am wearing the LifeVest when I can…though it is a HOT thing to wear – metal doesn’t breathe! I’m hoping to get it all figured out soon, so that either I can get rid of it or have a game plan with an alternative option.
With all the hot weather, the Soft Spot in Borculo sure was a hit!
This girl, I tell ya! In the winter she BEGGED me to go swimming with her in the pool, and now she BEGGED us to go skiing. Well, Dan watered the grass well so that it was a little slippery so that she could “slide” across the grass in her skiis! What a dad!
And this is the girl who was DEATHLY afraid of bugs (and still kind of is…), but can now be found trying to find worms to feed the birds. The one of the right is massive and she was chasing a robin saying “Here birdie, I have food for you!” And yes, she is in her pjs!
They even sleep the same way…so precious!
AND…if you haven’t seen my latest posts about my book, here is what the cover looks like!
And here is where it will be available!
I also plan to do a BOOK SIGNING at Parable Christian Store of St. Joseph! Date is yet to be determined, but when that happens, I will for sure let you know! I used to work at this store when we lived in St. Joseph, and the owner, who is a friend of mine, kindly asked if I would be willing to partner with them and do one! I sure don’t feel qualified to do one, but I do love to meet and talk to people, so this will be right up my alley! Regardless of the book signing, this is a store you should check out anyways! Granted I’m a bit biased, but you won’t walk out of there empty handed!
Again, I hope to share an official release date SOON! I am unsure how long it takes to print the book until I order it, so that is why the release date is up in the air. I am just as eager to know! Thank you for all of your encouragement in this process! It has made this an incredible journey!
