Around The Home
Since I did a few updates with heart issues this week, I’m just going to stick with the pics this week! So here’s what’s been going on this past week…
Mazy was craving cookies this week and it had been an incredibly long time since I had made anything from scratch, so I decided to call on the best little hands in the house to help me!
The BEST part of making cookies!
Mazy wanted to play Battleship and of course we didn’t really play, but she was REALLY good at building “roads” as she called them, by putting pegs in the holes!
To the park we went and her smile and arms say it all!
So she wanted to go on a bike ride, and she wanted to wear her winter boots for the ride…oh, and that’s an easter basket with a “ba-ba” in it, like a basket for her bike! I just love her creativity!
Mazy got ahold of my phone and she wanted to take a pic of my teddy…
Trying mommy’s glasses on…
Cousin time!
Captain Sundae ice cream – you can never go wrong!
Mazy’s “rescue” dog!
Matching in our “Heart Hero” shirts from the University of Michigan’s heart center! Dan had bought these for “his girls” after I had my heart surgeries. I look at this picture and see that we are a family. A unit. A team. She’s my girl and I am so thankful to walk this journey with this sweetie, together. It’s been hard and it’s been tough, but seeing that sweet face makes every hard part worth it!
Our friends have new kitties around, so Mazy makes sure those kitties are WELL loved! They have a different idea sometimes. If you ask her what they say, she says “MEH” in a hissing type sound :). She’ll get it at some point!
I wanted to start remembering some of the funny things that Mazy says, just because we all sometimes need a good laugh!
- When chasing each other around the house and she “beats” me, she says “I WIN YOU!” (Meaning I beat you…)
- She adds and pronounces -ed to every word, even if it’s in the past tense. It made me realize that our English language is pretty confusing! Ex. felled, burp-ed,
Hope you all have a blessed and grate-full week!
