This is what our past week looked like… A tiring day! She still gives us her “pouty” face which makes us laugh! I just can’t get enough of those eyes! So proud, though I think it’ll be a little bit before she starts walking on her own   She loves watching her dad snowblow! I…

  • Update on Mazy

Well, since Mazy’s surgery on Tuesday, things maybe haven’t gone like we thought they would. We were hoping for that “different kid” that the doctor talked about, but she was struggling. Tuesday, the day of the surgery, she took a long morning nap and napped well in the afternoon, so we were thinking “hey, things…

It is hard to believe that we have come upon “moving week!” I remember thinking back in March, oh, June is so far away. To now say that this is the week seems a bit crazy, but the time has come. We have shed many tears this past week, realizing that our life of 4…

  1. Your pictures of the park brought me right back 65 years ago. It doesn’t look like the bed shell has changed at all. We certainly spent a lot of hours and have lots of memories of the park.
I also remember coming in after curfew one night and sneaking in through the basement door. When I got to the top of the stairs the door was locked and I was stuck in the basement. My parents disciplined me through that locked door more than once. I am again so happy that we had the chance to meet you and can share some of the home things with you. God bless you today and everyday. From Vicky the oldest sibling!

    1. Vicki, it was SUCH a pleasure to meet you! I had to chuckle at your story about sneaking in after curfew! That’s a GREAT idea to sneak through the basement, though it sounds like it backfired on you too :). They were smart parents :)! I too, am so thankful you took the time to stop by! ANYTIME you are in the area again, don’t be afraid to stop on over! It truly was a pleasure to meet you and what a sweet sweet family you are! Keep in touch, Vicki! And if you ever find any pictures of you and the fam in the old house, we’d LOVE to see them! Thanks Vicki
