Around The Home
After a crazy week last week with the fundraiser dinner, we were looking forward to a quieter week, and that it was, even though it absolutely flew! Dan and I were sitting at the dinner table and said, “How did it get to be Thursday night?”
I had a speaking engagement this past Wednesday at a local church, and I’m just humbled that God continues to use this story for His glory. I am thankful for the stories that I am able to hear about how God is working in and through other’s lives as well – just puts me in awe of God and His faithfulness!
Here are the few pictures I took this week:
Mazy wanted cupcakes, so that’s what we made! Let’s be honest, she probably just wanted to lick the beater…
My little chef!
The weather finally warmed up a bit and we were able to go on a family walk/bike ride!
We have played a LOT of games lately…and anytime Mazy takes out Memory, she always says, “Mommy, this is the game that you aren’t very good at!” Indeed, she is correct!
While on our way to a dollar store, Mazy says, “Mommy, I don’t think we’ve been to this place before!” Meanwhile, we take this road more often, but it did look different – it was SUNNY! And there was BLUE sky! Love how she didn’t even recognize the area :).
I’ll be taking a little hiatus, since I will be having surgery on Tuesday at the U of M to have my ICD implanted. I don’t anticipate a difficult recovery, just a day or two, but you never know with Kristin!
