Here’s a glimpse at what our past few weeks have looked like!
We are odd ones and decorate in early November for Christmas! Okay, maybe not we, but me :). If I’m honest though, the reason I love to decorate early is because genuinely, it helps me stay focused ON Thanksgiving and the real meaning of Christmas. I can so easily lose sight of why we celebrate amidst the busyness of life, but seeing the signs and decor, I am reminded that it truly is because of Jesus that we live and have so much to be thankful for!
Mazy LOVES to hunt, especially with “her girl”!
A highlight of November was DEFINITELY when Michigan’s football team beat Ohio State! Even Mazy joined in the celebrations!
One of the most magical events I’ve gone to in my life is our town’s Christmas parade. I know, you’re probably thinking “Kristin, seriously? You have to get out more!” Ya know, maybe I do, but there is something about being bundled up, listening to Christmas music, with snow falling, and watching a parade! It truly is magical!
Mazy and Dan attended a Daddy/Daughter Winter Ball together! Brought tears to my eyes seeing Mazy look up to her daddy so much, but also to see her daddy treat her like a princess. An evening they won’t soon forget.
Dan and I attended a nursing home chic Christmas party and what fun we had! We decided we will have some fun when we are 90!
Mazy and I had a blast doing a scavenger hunt at the local train show in the basement of our library!
On Sunday, Mazy wanted to be twins. I try to cherish those moments because I’m sure there will be a day when I’m just not that cool anymore :). We were twins from the color shoes to wore to the braid in our hair!
