Life has been a bit crazy lately, but don’t we all just have those weeks sometimes? Dan and I often say that even though there are crazy seasons of life, sometimes they just end up being crazy weeks and then the next week looks completely different. Do you know what I’m talking about? I feel like March for us is always a bit hectic, with basketball tournaments, Mazy’s birthday (which means the appts that go along with that), preparing for Spring, but all the good things in life!
Here’s a little bit of a glimpse of what we did this past week:
Mazy LOVES going to Open Rock with us on Mondays! She so enjoys hanging out with the kids and doing what they do – such as hoola hooping! Clearly she doesn’t quite get that she has to have the hoop around her waist, but she enjoys the dancing part regardless!
Another fun part is playing things we don’t have in our home, like a pool table. Oh the fun she has putting all of the balls into the holes!
My friend and I had the chance to go to a cupcake tasting event together! I never did anything the sorts and what fun we had!
In youth group, Dan has been doing a series on spiritual gifts. On Wednesday, we all took an in-depth spiritual gifts test and how impactful it was.
And all of those who know me…one of the biggest reasons March is always a “busy” month is because of MARCH MADNESS! I am obsessed – I totally own that! I am glued to the TV during March Madness I have to say! We have a schoolhouse-size chalkboard in our home and each year I put up the bracket. Mazy wanted to help me this year and she was SO proud of her artwork!
All I have to say is GO BLUE! Michigan is on a role and I cannot wait to see what they do in the tournament! I know that March Madness is such a trivial thing when it comes to the world, but I also see it as a time to get together with friends and enjoy a good time.
And though I do not have a picture of it, Minnesota got a good ole snow storm once again! Of course it’ll be melted in the next few days, but there is a reason why they call it MinneSNOWta, right?
