Game Week – Mission & Click Clack Match
Thanks for joining me this week for GAME week with Bible Games Central! Like I said in my first post, our family LOVES games and if I can incorporate game playing with Biblical concepts and truths, both of my hands are raised with a YES! After playing these games with Mazy, I realized how easy it is to teach Biblical stories through a simple game, thanks to BGC. And now having added these games to our collection, they are often the games she chooses.
This next one was a little advanced for her, but she was starting to get the concept after a few turns. Mission: Ends of the Earth is a strategic tile placement games (as the box says), where you have to try and get your missionary to their destination, with the required resources. I love games that involve strategy, so I really enjoyed this one!
Your unique Mission Card specifies your destination village and the 5 resources it needs.
The first player to reach their destination village with the required resources wins this game!
There are 9 different types of resources, but look out, but if you land on a crisis tile, it’s a doozy!
This is a great game that teaches about being witnesses and blessings to people both near and far!
Last, but not least, is Bible Animals Click, Clack, Match. Our 6-year-old daughter caught on to this one very quickly!
In this game, one player rolls 5 dice and places them on matching animal spaces on Click Clack Match Cards.
When you place a die on the final empty space of a card, you win that card! It doesn’t matter if the other dice were placed by other players. Our daughter had fun trying to beat her mama in this game, that’s for sure!
But look out, if you get 3 sad faces, you lose your turn. The first person to collect 50 points worth of cards, wins the game!
When Mazy and I first started to play this game, I thinks she thought she was too old for it, but once we literally got rolling, she didn’t want to stop! Just another fun game from BGC, that’s for sure!
