Ho Ho Holiday GIVEAWAY!
Christmas is JUST around the corner and before you know it, it will be a NEW YEAR! Can you believe it? Just like that, 2020 is coming to a close…but not before the Ho Ho Holiday GIVEAWAY happens! As many of you know, one of my most favorite companies to partner with is Personal Planner, out of Sweden. I was introduced to them several years ago now, but every year, I love their products more and more! So I couldn’t say no to another opportunity to do a review and giveaway, especially since they introduced a new “mixbook”, which I can’t wait to share with you!
Normally I would create a planner, but since I already have one for the school year, I decided to try something a little different. Like I mentioned, Personal Planner has a new “mixbook” out there, where you can combine all of the back-page designs into one book! Let me explain…
But first things first. When you order a planner, you get a ruler, stickers, plastic sleeve, and elastic cord. I decided to also get a brush pen and a new pen set. Opening up this package from the mail, I always get giddy because I can’t wait to see how it turned out and try out the new accessories:
The Emott pens are absolutely AMAZING! Honestly, I thought I was just getting a pen set, but then it came in this nice plastic holder where part of it folds down so it can stand up like this:
And that’s when my daughter stole them from me and said that these are the coolest pens! And…that’s when I said we will SHARE them…
Not to mention, different sets come in different colors, but they are a fine line and write beautifully! This comes from someone who loves to write cards, notes, and in my planner:
Then the “mixbook”. I decided to create my own cover once again, by adding/downloading my own image, and I LOVE how it turned out:
And like I mentioned earlier, instead of doing a typical “planner”, I decided to try their “mixbook” option, where you can add all of their back-page options, into a full-size notebook! Maybe you want to mix it up too, where you can add gratitude lists. Meal planners. Budget planners. Lists, habit trackers, coloring pictures, or even sudoku pages! So this round, I decided to add…
A LARGE list section, because Kristin, is OBSESSED with lists. You should see my desk and planner! Now I can put them all in one place and not have sticky notes randomly posted all over our home. These notes won’t get lost! So first of all, I added a “Make a List” section…
And I am a MEAL PLANNER! At the beginning of every week, I write down possible meal options for our family. It doesn’t mean I have to make all of them, but they are what I have ingredients for in the house. And now having a special section in this MIXBOOK for meal planning, I don’t think I’ll ever struggle to figure out what to have:
Not to mention, there is also a section to write down your favorite meals. I love to try new recipes, but I often forget what I actually make in the week, so the section for “My List of Favorite Meals” is perfect! Though now having a special section for meal planning, there will be no forgetting either!
Then I decided to add just some plain ruled paper, so I can write whatever I want to on these sheets, whether it’s blogging ideas, lists (even though I already have a list area), long-term goals, etc.:
And finally, I added an “Every Day Gratitude” section where I can write down what I’m thankful for. I know it sounds mundane or silly to write down something every day in a mixbook/planner, but when we can look back at what we are thankful for, we can also look back at the faithfulness of God, and how much He has blessed us with! When we realize the blessings in our life and the things we can be thankful for, it lessens the worry and helps me keep perspective on the issues in life…especially this year!
On the back cover, I decided to just make it the same as the front cover:
I just LOVE how this MIXBOOK turned out and Personal Planner has so many more options too. Through Personal Planner, you can also create a Teacher, Student, Workout, and Wedding planner, if you’re looking for some different options too!
This is why I continue to partner with Personal Planner because of the versatility in their planners and now MIXBOOKS as well! And did I mention their accessories? They have pens, stickers, covers, colored pencils, you name it!
