Planning Ahead with Personal Planner + Giveaway

One of my most favorite businesses to partner with is Personal Planner. They are actually based out of Sweden, but I look forward to participating with international company each time. My own planner was about to run out, so I was eager to design this coming year’s planner! I’ve been designing one from fall to fall instead of by the calendar year because that is how I feel life goes for us with our daughter in school now. We live from school year to school year, so starting FRESH with a new planner, is well, REFRESHING.

I am excited to show you how I designed this year’s planner and read all the way to the end because there is ANOTHER GIVEAWAY! Here is my custom designed Personal Planner:

One of the biggest reasons I love Personal Planner is because you can customize the planner to YOUR liking, YOUR tastes, and YOUR design. All the way down to the front and back covers and size. I designed my own front cover using a photo editing website and then uploaded the picture. This has been my motto for years now and want to continue working on the idea to LIVE SIMPLY.

Also, I chose the A5 design, which is the most popular, but you can choose from other sizes of planners and/or notebooks as well, such as mini, square, and full-size.

I decided to choose a flowery top border, along with columns for the days, instead of a block design like I did last year. This way, I can see all the days lined up, versus 4 on 1 page and 3 on another. I also left the top half of each day blank, with a ruled section underneath, where I can add a to-do list for each day. You can also add your own birthday/anniversary names to the days and input them in!

Not to mention, on the bottom of each week, you can customize what type of lists/design you want at the bottom. I always have a meal planning list, along with a ruled section next to it for random thoughts/things to-do.

Before each month, there is a month-at-a-glance, along with all holidays:

Something NEW Personal Planner has to add at the back of the planner are tracking pages. Here are the 2 I chose. HOW FUN ARE THESE? So you can use these to track anything you want to set a goal for:

They also added a TRAVEL list. Often times when planning a trip, even though I have a generic packing list, there are always “extras” that I need to add. Well, here’s a GREAT place to do that, along with places to list what I want to accomplish BEFORE I live and then AFTER.

Last, but not least, after the tracker and the travel, I have a bunch of ruled paper to keep on-going lists, such a birthday ideas for our daughter and family, things to remember to do, and long-term planning ideas. As someone who has to write EVERYTHING down, otherwise I will forget, this is the best gift when it comes to a planner! And that’s the beauty of being able to customize!

This go around, I ordered not only my planner, but it also came with a set of stickers, plastic sleeve, ruler, and elastic closure. I also decided to order their new colored pencils, a black pen, and their new STICKY NOTES!

LOVE these colored pencils! I have this odd love of coloring (thankfully I have a 5 year old who allows me to color with her), so when I saw these as a new option to get, I had to get a set:

In the 2 weeks I have had my planner, I have used numerous of these because they are so easy to just grab and use. Plus, they fit in each section, no matter what custom design you have:

Finally, in this crazy season of life, I wanted to have a Bible verse that helped me stay focus on what really mattered in life. I have this verse displayed in a wall frame in our dining room, but I need to let it sink in, in every way. So, I decided to add it to the back of my planner, which has been a great reminder:
