How To Organize Buttons

Have you ever decluttered your greeting cards? Is this something you even think NEEDS to be decluttered? Usually there are the extremes – either you are running to the store last minute to pick up a card, or you go to your stash and spend 15 minutes deciding which card to send. Both of them…
It is that time of year again! I always get excited for garage sale season! Not that I have a laundry list of things I need, but I seem to always find something I want. Especially now with having a 1 year old, I now have a list of clothes and toys I wouldn’t mind…
Another ridiculous topic, right? Batteries. Where are your batteries? Where do you store them? Are they all in one location? Really? “Mom, I need 2 AA batteries!” Have you heard that phrase about a zillion times, yet don’t have a clue where even ONE is? You look in the “battery drawer” but all you see…
I thought I had decluttered enough. You see, I have been in the “decluttering” stage for the past few years, and what I am learning, is that you are really never done. I save extras of those extra little baggies just in cases I have buttons with no bag like the ones sewn into the seams of some blouses. Sometimes having that button there is bulky if you tuck in the blouse. And those little baggies come in handy for many other things such as keeping jewelry untangled and a bit padded in travel.
That is so true that the extra button can get in the way! Putting it in a baggy is an excellent idea! Keeping those around the home are definitely worth it! Thanks for sharing!
My buttons are in the glass jars, divided by color
There ya go! By COLOR! I will need to collect a few more buttons in order to do that, but I can only imagine how that looks displayed! Thanks for commenting!
