Husband’s Delight Casserole

This recipe lives up to it’s name: it truly IS a husband’s delight! I did not tell my husband what the name of this hot dish/casserole was – all he said was “this is really good.” The mixture of the tomato sauce, sour cream, and cream cheese, makes this recipe a hit. The leftovers taste that much better because the flavors mix together even more. Your husband will soon be begging for you to make this!

Ingredients:

• 1 lb. hamburger
• 2 (16 oz.) cans tomato sauce (can use spaghetti sauce)
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1 T. sugar
• 1 t. pepper
• 1 T. Worcestershire sauce
• 1 c. sour cream
• 3 oz. cream cheese
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• 1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles, cooked and drained

Directions:
1. Brown hamburger in skillet. Drain.
2. Add tomato sauce, garlic, Worcestershire, and seasonings.
3. Simmer 15 minutes.
4. Blend together sour cream and cream cheese
5. Add onion.
6. In buttered baking dish, using half the ingredients, place a layer of noodles.
7. Cover with layer of meat mix.
8. Top with cream cheese mixture.
9. Repeat the layers one more time.
10. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
