NEW Karen Kingsbury Movie: SOMEONE LIKE YOU!

March 28, 2024March 28, 2024

Grab the tissues for this one! I have read the book and had a hard time getting through that. Now that it’s in a movie, you feel right along with the characters as they live out this heart-wrenching drama. Having gone through IVF personally with a surrogate and needing to ponder how many embryos to create, with the possibility of embryo adoption, this film hit home. And don’t grab just one, but several tissues!

Based on the popular novel by #1 NY Times Bestselling author Karen Kingsbury, Someone Like You is an achingly beautiful redemptive love story. Shocking news hits after young architect Dawson Gage loses his best friend, London Quinn. Now in his heartbreak, Dawson is compelled to launch an impossible search for London’s secret twin sister, twins separated as embryos. But along the way, Dawson never planned to fall in love.

Check out the trailer:

SOMEONE LIKE YOU has a message of God’s healing and hope, love and redemption. And it’s Rated PG! So, you and your kids truly can enjoy a special movie outing together! This is a movie you will not want to miss!

Around The Home

Hello, WINTER! This past week was quite a shock to our bodies after being in warm Mexican weather all last week! We came home to LOTS of snow, a snow storm the next day that closed schools, ice that covered the roads the whole week, and frigid temps that made going outside unbearable at times….

What Have You Learned In 2018?

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I struggle with the start of a new year. So much anticipation, so much pressure to set the “right” goals and really, to even set goals in and of themselves. And then to start off the year somehow… Perfect. Do you ever feel that way? I know I…
