Gift giving can be perceived in two ways – as a privilege or as a chore. Some may feel that the simple thought of trying to think of something to get, is overwhelming; especially when others are asking for suggestions. A simple way to make gift giving more easy, apply these 4 principles. Think of an item for each, and you know your child/friend/family member will be getting exactly what they need – nothing more, nothing less.
Kristin’s Action Plan: Though I may not have children living in my home, I do try to keep this principle in mind as I am buying gifts for others. Not that I buy multiple gifts, but thinking about this saying, I can think about the child/person and think about what they may need. A simple principle, a complete packaged gift.
