Tomato and Spinach Pasta Toss
Want a restaurant-style meal that you can make at home? This is guaranteed to be a hit! I first discovered the recipe and decided to make it more saucy by adding a jar of alfredo sauce. You can make it without, but we now prefer it with the alfredo sauce. The leftovers even taste good! You can double the recipe to make it for your family. Bonus? It is easy and quick to make!
Tomato and Spinach Pasta Toss {Print Recipe}
Ingredients:
- 2 c. penne
- 1/2 lb. sausage
- 7 c. spinach
- 1 can Italian diced tomatoes
- 1 c. mozzarella
- 2 T. parmesan
- 1 jar of alfredo sauce
Directions:
1. Cook pasta.
2. Crumble meat into large skillet.
3. Cook meat on high, stirring occasionally; drain.
4. Add alfredo sauce, spinach and tomatoes.
5. Cook 2 minutes or until spinach is wilted.
6. Remove from heat and cover to keep warm.
7. Add meat mixture and cheeses.
8. Toss slightly.
