What Are You Waiting For?

Our goal here on this earth is to showcase how awesome our God is. Really though. He has called us to make His name and glory known, and He has given each of us, the unique calling to do so. Your mission here is like no one else’s. Yours is yours to live out.

So often we shrink back in talking about God, our faith, and what he’s done. What will people think? What if I sound dumb? Does it even matter? What I say won’t make a difference…

Um, YES. It does matter. Our lives here on earth are a baton-passing, so to speak. One day, God will call us to our eternal home. Who have you passed your baton of faith off to? Who have you talked to about your Savior, so that when they are called home, they can pass THEIR baton off? We are not in charge if it is dropped. God is. Our job is to simply make great His name to those around us.

I know my busy-body life, actions, and words can stifle how lovely our Christ is, but I want others to truly see His goodness and mercy. And often God gives us stories to share, to showcase that goodness. But do you share yours?

But Kristin, I haven’t gone through anything crazy! You don’t need to. God chose YOU for this moment in time. God is writing YOUR story and it’s unlike anyone else’s. He chose YOUR life to be the way it is, so that YOU can showcase HIM, through it.

What are you waiting for? Every day we are called to live out our faith through what God is doing in and around us. Don’t wait. Don’t waste the days, for they are few. God is enough. Your story is enough. Showcase how lovely our Savior is and in that, you will be living out your purpose here on this earth.
