If you live in Michigan, I don’t have to say it twice – this past week was one for the record books! I can’t ever remember saying “It’s STILL snowing” so many times in a week before and when I said it, it was the truth. Wow. I do not think I was alive to…

A few more pictures from this past week! As if we do not look alike already, my older sister and I dressed alike too on Sunday! If you put all 3 of us together, I can see why people have called us triplets. I just can’t get enough pictures with this sweet girl! On Saturday,…

What a joyous and wonderful Christmas week we had as a family. We tried to soak in every moment we could because family is just so valuable to us. Also, seeing our sweet girl’s excitement over Christmas, while trying to reign in the excitement over the presents and remind her WHY we have Christmas gifts,…

As you can tell, I haven’t been us “up” on my blogging as usual, but it’s because we haven’t been home! Dan and I had the privilege of being parents for a day and night for two of our youth group kids – loved it! We played mini-golf, played TTR (that is Ticket to Ride)…

  1. Your pictures of the park brought me right back 65 years ago. It doesn’t look like the bed shell has changed at all. We certainly spent a lot of hours and have lots of memories of the park.
I also remember coming in after curfew one night and sneaking in through the basement door. When I got to the top of the stairs the door was locked and I was stuck in the basement. My parents disciplined me through that locked door more than once. I am again so happy that we had the chance to meet you and can share some of the home things with you. God bless you today and everyday. From Vicky the oldest sibling!

    1. Vicki, it was SUCH a pleasure to meet you! I had to chuckle at your story about sneaking in after curfew! That’s a GREAT idea to sneak through the basement, though it sounds like it backfired on you too :). They were smart parents :)! I too, am so thankful you took the time to stop by! ANYTIME you are in the area again, don’t be afraid to stop on over! It truly was a pleasure to meet you and what a sweet sweet family you are! Keep in touch, Vicki! And if you ever find any pictures of you and the fam in the old house, we’d LOVE to see them! Thanks Vicki
