A New Look (sort of…)
Welcome to my blog! Even though I haven’t changed the complete look of kristinsterk.com, I did decide it was time to freshen it up. With the ever-evolving options on the internet, I decided to start off summer by spending some time on rejuvenating this blog a bit.
Just like with everything else in life, there are often upgrades, new looks, and new ways of doing things that beckon our call. I have been wanting to change over to a whole new way of putting my blog and posts together, and for someone who hasn’t gone into web design, there is a *slight* learning curve to say the least!
One of the parts I honestly love about blogging is not only sharing my heart, but the designing. It’s a way to share a visual of what my heart desires to share and blog design allows me to do that. So let me take you through a quick tour of what the blog looks like now. Again, if you’ve been following me, there aren’t any MAJOR changes, but a few that I hope are helpful. The front page, also known as the “Homepage”. If you are wanting to read the blog, you can click right on that middle icon called “Kristin’s Blog”. To learn a bit more about me, click on one of the 3 pictures below where you can learn more about my story, my heart journey, and my book! And if you want to have my latest blog post sent to your inbox, sign up in the subscribe section.
Below the “Subscribe” section, you will see 3 pictures that depict some major events in my life, that tell of God’s goodness through the trials AND triumphs, like my book subtitle talks about! If you want to learn some random facts about me, check out the section below those pictures! To see my latest blog posts, you can always click on any of the latest posts listed below the facts about me.
Finally on the “Homepage”, there is a menu that includes categories about some topics I don’t necessarily share about often, but ones I am very passionate about. Click on each one when you’re on the front page. Below is just a small snippet about me and another way to subscribe to receive my latest blog posts in your email. If you want to follow me on Instagram, check out the “Follow on Instagram” button and it will lead you to my Instagram page!
I hope the new look doesn’t confuse you too much, but only makes certain topics a bit more easy to find. If there is something you wish I had or even wished I talked about more, let me know! As much as my blog is a journal for me, I love to interact with my readers as well. Thanks for reading!
