It has been a chilly week here in Minnesota! Of course this is what we expected moving out here, but it always takes a few days to get used to the frigid temps again! Now with a baby, I think twice about going outside and to town because just in a few minutes, she can get frostbitten!
If you’ve ever wondered what Minnesota looks like in the winter, here’s a good description:
I was reading a magazine this week and saw that the Spirograph is back in! I couldn’t help but send this to my younger sister, who I often did Spirograph with. Aren’t those cards adorable? Who knew!?
Didn’t mean to, but we dressed like twins!
So those frigid temps? Yes, that is a minus behind the 17.6. We woke up Sunday morning to -17.6, with windchills below -30, with windchills upwards to -35 to -45 possibly. Church was cancelled, which I was kind of okay with because again, I don’t like taking Mazy out in those temps!
That smile! She LOVES to watch the world go by outside!
Mazy has a lot of love to give! She is still very into dogs, and anytime we give her Clifford, she gives it the biggest hug! The other day, we were in the store and a lady stopped to talk to Mazy. She had a bathrobe in her bag that she had bought and Mazy took the sleeve and started to hug it. The lady just couldn’t get enough of her! If you ask for a hug, she will give you one. I hope that continues!
I’m telling you, she loves to hug!
This week it’s supposed to get up to 33 on Saturday, which is an incredible heat wave, compared to our -17! Might be pulling out the shorts!
