Around The Home
I may have said this in my last “Around The Home” post, but Fall REALLY has arrived in Minnesota! Cool temps during the day, leaves are changing and falling, and it is WINDY. Who knew that Minnesota would be so windy? Needless to say, going on bike rides with Mazy is plenty of exercise since our “cart” acts like a parachute.
We were thankful to have a very good report at Mazy’s 18 month appointment! Much to be thankful for. She slept AMAZING last week too (outside of Monday night). She slept through the night completely one night, only woke up once for 2 nights, and then woke up twice 1 one night, but that is a major improvement! Then it went a bit downhill again, but hey, you take what you can get! I tried a few of the suggestions the doctor gave me, and they did not seem to work, but only made it worse, but I am so glad she suggested them! Love my doctor!
Mazy is again, learning new words everyday. She now knows people’s names, can say “Go blue” and “I love you” in her own little language. Really, you can teach her any word as long as it doesn’t have an “l” or “n” in it. Those are two letters that always seem to get missed in words (allow with many more I am sure). Toddler babble never gets old!
One of Mazy’s new-found loves is for stickers. Again, we don’t need a sticker book – mommy’s and Mazy’s faces are just as fun!
I had to get Mazy up for her appointment, and this is how I found her. pants half off, with her legs tugged underneath. She was OUT! Not really my preferred way of sleeping…

As you know, Mazy is quite obsessed with Daniel Tiger (Danny as she calls it). Well, Dan found a stuffed animal Daniel Tiger that plays some of the sayings from the show, and he couldn’t resist.
And she’s in love:
There were extra cupcakes from youth group (a sweet leader brought them for Dan’s birthday). We knew Mazy would enjoy one! Never thought of licking the cupcake so you don’t get your hands dirty!
Licking it wasn’t really working…
We were walking through the mall and Dan saw the toys in the middle of the mall – I’m telling you, Mazy has her father wrapped around her finger (and I LOVE it). Mazy went for quite a ride to say the least!

My daughter is also obsessed with Daniel Tiger. She calls it "tigie" like Daniel tiger calls his stuffed toy. We only have the free cable so she watches PBS kids.
