Around The Home

This past week was a little hectic as I went back to work! I felt I had thoroughly enjoyed the summer, spent amazing and quality time with Mazy, and so I felt ready to go back to work my 2 days. Plus, Mazy is just such a sucker for her dad, so I knew she would be in good hands! Though, I must say, when I come home, I realize how much I miss our crazy Mazy! Thankful to have the best of both worlds.

If you live in Minnesota, you know what I am talking about, but the mosquitoes are just INSANE here! We had received so much rain, that they are just mass-producing right now. They are so bad that really we can’t even be outside for a long period of time, unless on a bike ride. The park, the sandbox, and even our deck, are just covered with them. Yes, we layer up in bug spray, are lighting citronella candles left and right, and even sprayed our lawn 3 times, but they are just so bad, there is no stopping them! So, that means more time spent in time, even though the weather has been just gorgeous here! Oh well, it could be worse!

This past weekend we had some of our best friends from Michigan come and visit us! They brought their little 3 week old baby with them, and oh what a doll! So good to catch up with them and meet their newest bundle!

I received a package in the mail and the bubble wrap sure entertained Mazy for awhile!
