The mornings have been pretty chilly this week, hence the winter items have come out!

Mazy felt the need to wear her sunglasses while watching Curious George

She is still OBSESSED with dogs! So one day she would not let go of the fact that she needed to see her friends and their dog. These next two pics explain why – best buds!

Except she likes to poke eyes out…

We are TRYING to get Mazy to eat vegetables (to no avail), but we knew she liked corn, so I bought some from Aldi this week and she had a few bites! Better than nothing, right?

I literally thought Mazy was going to fall asleep swinging one day! She didn’t, but this is how she swung for awhile…

One of my most favorite purchases since Mazy has been born – this red and black coat.

So when I was on my night away last weekend, my hour spent in Target, well, part of it was spent drooling over this coat. I saw it and thought Mazy would look so cute, but didn’t want to spend the money. She has a thick puffy coat, but nothing thinner for running out and about. Well, this week it was on sale AND of course I could get another 5% off with my Target Red Card, which brought it to under $20. I couldn’t resist and immediately ran to Target to make sure her size was still there and sure enough it was! It’s a little big, but she has some time to grow into it because the Minnesota winters are rather long! And now you know why I couldn’t resist…

This girl could swing ALL DAY! Unfortunately it has rained a bit this past week, which prevented us from swinging all day, everyday!

Mazy is a hugger and snuggler at times!

Shhh…I caught Dan reading one of Mazy’s books, M is for Mitten (it’s actually quite an educational one and yes, I have read it too).

Dan was “resting” on the couch, so Mazy brought all the blankets she could find around our house to give to daddy and made sure I was quite by telling me “shhh…” as he slept, being certain not to wake him up. She even gave him a taggie blanket!

Mazy easily gets cabin fever, so even when it’s raining, she BEGS to go “side” which means “outside”. I finally caved, we put on our raincoats, rain boots, and headed outside.

She is a pretty determined driver! Look out other drivers!

And this is why I can’t stop this girl from her love for the outdoors. These priceless moments we both will never forget! We even walked down the street side, just splashing away in the water!

The joy on her face made my day!

AND…Mazy is still sleeping SO WELL!!!!

I feel like a new person to be honest! She will wake up sometime between 5:00am and 7:00am, and typically needs to sleep for just a bit longer, but will go right back down if I tell her it’s not time to get up yet and time to go na-night. What a gift. Every night she sleeps well, we thank our heavenly Father because we have realized what a gift a good night of sleep is!
