Around the Home
Can’t wait to share what’s been going on in our life lately! It’s not all going to fit in this post, so you’ll see a slew of posts about what’s been going on in the Sterk’s life! From heart struggles, to a family vacation, to fun with friends, it’s been a few weeks of ups and downs, but looking back at all of the pictures, reminds me that God’s timing is ALWAYS perfect!
This past weekend, we dog sat one of Mazy’s favorite pups, Maya! As you can see, she loves this dog very much…
This girl is seriously a fish. Can’t keep her out of the pool, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
And as of this week, she can officially swim with her head above water! It’s not pretty and it’s not for miles, but she can do it!
Love snuggling with this girl! The week before my family’s vacation, I felt pretty off, so I sure appreciated the snuggles this sweet girl offered, and her silly faces!
When I couldn’t do much, we would sit on the floor and play games, like duck, duck, goose, with stuffed animals – Mazy thought it was the best game ever!
Pool party at the Sterks! What a FUN evening:
Oh how we LOVE having people from Minnesota pop over when they are in town! Always and forever part of our lives, Vanderhoofts!
One evening we went to a West Michigan Whitecaps game with our college and career group from church. Love these girls! Fun game to watch, especially when the Whitecaps stole home – not every day you see that!
Love hanging out with this guy!
A little sneak peak at vacation with my family…(another post to come)
Friends of ours generously invited us to join them on a fishing charter trip this past Saturday night! (I need to do a separate post to do this night justice!) Dan and I had been on one in the Florida Keys back in the day, but never have I fished in Lake Michigan, even though I grew up in West Michigan! We ALL were able to reel one in, though not all of them made it into the boat. Can’t wait to tell you the story behind my fish…
Anyways, we had such a fun time together on the perfect night for fishing!
Dan seemed to have caught a lunker, but it jumped off the line…
God had painted the most AMAZING sunset for us that night:
