Speedy Brownies
Family recipes are the best, aren’t they? Saturday mornings when I was growing up, after we all chipped in to clean the house, we would bake. Sometimes it was cookies, sometimes it was brownies – it was usually one of the two. I became a pro at making the classic Nestle Tollhouse Cookie Recipe and the speedy brownie recipe below. Sometimes it would be a time issue – cookies always take longer because they have to come in and out of the oven. Brownies, well, I see them as a one and done deal; that is why I love this recipe so much. Fudge-type brownies, that melt in your mouth when your teeth sink into them, are my favs. This is one of those recipes. Why are they called speedy? Because that is exactly what they are – you will have them made and out of the oven in less than 45 minutes! Make these brownies and your family will now want YOU to make it a Saturday morning ritual!
