  • Buried and Hurried

Is this not the battle within many of us? We are buried and in over our heads with things to do, hurrying and scurrying around, trying to accomplish as much as we can in as little of time as possible. I am the BEST at this! And that’s not something to be proud of. I…

  • Unbusy

Unbusy. Have you ever thought about what that word means? Pretty sure it is a word that is not part of our common vocabulary. In fact, it’s quite the opposite it. Busy. We are all busy. Someone asks how we are doing and we say “busy.” We think about what we have to do in…

  • How You Can Pray

I envision that even in this difficult time, this is what heaven will be like when it comes to people surrounding each other in love and prayer. Though in heaven, we won’t have to worry one iota about pain, tears, and suffering, but it’ll be everyone coming together for everyone else. And you know what,…

  • Faith in Organizing

Where does my deep desire to be organized come from? My belief. My faith in God. My desire to live a life for Him and not myself. While on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic (a second time), my heart cried tears of disgust and embarrassment at the life I was living. Not that we…

  1. This reminds me of a picture that my sister used to hang on her wall. It had the story of a person who has had it rough in life. When he went to heaven, he was strolling the streets of glory with God when he looked down and saw his footsteps in life’s journey. What shocked him was the fact that there were a pair of footsteps on the ground when the going was good, but only one pair when it was rough. So he asked God why He’d forsake him in time of need. God gave him the most surprising answer: “That single pair of footsteps you see on the ground are mine, carrying you in times of hardship, son.” This is what He says in Isaiah 46:4 Christian Standard Bible
I will be the same until your old age, and I will bear you up when you turn gray. I have made you, and I will carry you; I will bear and rescue you.

  2. So beautifully said, Kristin! We often see God every day but don’t really stop to praise Him or say thank you. Mazy is getting so many lessons on God-sightings to share with her friends, too. Hope her project went well. Thank you for sharing your heart and your walk.
