It’s my 5 Favorite Things on Friday post – Edition #5!
Unbreakable Plastic 10oz Cups – I have been in search for some quality but affordable “everyday” cups. We had some plastic ones, but many of them cracked if put in hot water. Not my cup of tea. I found these cups on Amazon, quite inexpensive, and have been incredibly pleased with them! They are not a large cup, but we do not need large cups. The 10oz. cup is perfect for at dinners and washes well in the dishwasher. By the way, did you notice that they are unbreakable?
Calphalon Nonstick Pizza Pan – 16 inches – I am a lover of Aldi pizzas. Though, a few of their pizzas are too big for the “regular” size pizza pans. I decided to get a 16 in. pizza pan and it has been worth its weight in gold! We love our Aldi pizzas and so surely we needed a pan big enough for them! Plus, it cleans up very easily.
When God Doesn’t Fix It – My mom had let me borrow this book by Laura Story. Her husband experienced major complications from a brain tumor and her journey is documented in this book. It is a lengthy book, but worth every word. Have you ever wondered why God hasn’t “fixed” something in your life? This book will give you real answers and encourage you to look beyond circumstances to how God can use your situation for far greater purposes than we will ever know. As for me, this book has been influential, encouraging, and offered purpose for the situation we are in as well. Definitely a must read, though prepare to grow in your faith!
Fiesta 3-Piece Silicone Spatulas – I once had my spatula hit the beater on our mixer and it had all of these knicks on it. I was afraid I would start to get pieces of plastic in our cookies, so I bought this 3 piece set, all different sizes, and I am loving them! Clean up so easily, have some color, and easily gets food out of bowls. The easier, the better in my book!
Yeti Tumbler With Lid – 20oz. – Stainless Steel – I was given a Yeti as a birthday gift and I must admit, the Yeti is worth it! I know there are other brands out there that are worth it as well! I just happen to have a Yeti and I can say that it keeps my drink COLD. AND warm. Never thought I would get one, but it was the perfect gift and I am thankful for it every time I use it!
